Custom Wine Racks

I was asked to build a set of custom wine racks to fit a specific location in a clients basement.  The racks were designed in the x-brace style and were constructed from solid pine planks.  It was amazing just how much lumber was required to build the two racks.  In the end I used 108 linear feet of pine 1×12.   I used a palm router to ease round some of the edges and everything is dado fit.   Just some final sanding an this project will be complete.

Saving an Antique Dresser

This dresser was in bad shape when some friends asked if I could help.  The dresser looked great from the outside but the drawers were in horrible shape.  The drawers were not square and in places has worn almost all the way through.   There was no actual drawer hardware and the drawers did not function.   The drawers themselves were not salvageable so I cut off the drawer front and converted it to a front only and attached it to new dovetail poplar drawers with cabinet grade slides.
